How To Update NetBeans IDE plugins and updates

For most of the Netbeans IDE users working on their projects which are either a mobile, web or desktop projects have ever came across this message popup as shown below notifying them to update their Netbeans IDE plugins and binaries.

Now having this,have you ever thought how you would solve this issue temporary and work on your projects without disruption?.You should never worry anymore as in this blueprint  I will show you how you can get this issue solved  by going through a step by step on how to fix it and update your IDE plugins.

While updating these binaries and plugins, its good to update one component at a time.Also, you need to check on your antivirus software or firewall settings as these tend to block the IDE from fetching the binary files from certain  repositories such as GitHub or gitlab when updating.

Now its time to update your old netbeans plugins and binaries.To do this, open your Netbeans and head over the menu bar and look for Tools option  as shown here below; 

While on Tools option,Click on it and a drop-down  like one here below will appear.Hover down and click on plugins and another window popup will show up like this one below.This window will display a list of all available updates and plugins together with their versions and their descriptions.

Then highlight the update you need to install and click on update button, and in no time you will be redirected to this window popup which will show you that your update is downloading .

After your update has finished downloading,it will automatically checked to be verified if  its from trusted sources before being installed and synced in the IDE  it as shown here below.

After the update has  finished installing, another window popup like one below will show up showing that the Netbeans installer has successfully installed the updates.It will ask you to either restart the Netbeans IDE immediately or restart it later so that the changes may be effected.
