Sharing files between a computer and mobile gadgets has never been an easy task when it comes to file transmission if they you are not using USB cable or bluetooth.But today am going to show you a simple and the fastest way of sharing data between a computer and a mobile phone.
To share files between these two devices, you need to have an installed program or software called Shareit on both devices.ShareIt shares data using WiFi hotspot or WiFi direct and doesn't need any internet nor Bluetooth connection . ShareIt creates a server of files with your wifi hotspot.You must also ensure that your PC has a wifi adapter or wifi LAN card installed.
Am going to take through on how you can configure the application in both PC and a mobile phone.
First, of all , you need to download the shareit application for both PC and mobile device from the shareit website.Once the application has been installed in PC, open it and click on navigation bar icon and head to settings pane shown here below.
While on settings pane, set the folder directory which you want the shared files to be stored and you can also set password so as to make sure your files are secure while sharing them if you need.After that click on save button
After that, it is our turn to start sharing files between the two devices now.Open the shareit App on the mobile phone and click on navigation icon, and it will show a navigation drawer with a list of an items like this.
While on navigation drawer ,select the "Connect Pc" item and now the app will start searching for the available computer devices which it will display them as shown below. Devices which are discoverable by ShareIt should be within a range of about 100 feets
After that,click on the computer device you want to share files with, and thereafter an alert message on the PC will prompt you to accept to connect with a mobile phone, and in no time you will be connected. To send files,After that, highlight the files you need to share with a PC as shown below.
After selecting the files, click on next and the shared files will be received immediately as shown below.You can also use drag and drop files to transfer files using ShareIt.
To view the received files, follow the directory of the folder you set to store your files.
